What is the price of public space? Is “developer” a dirty word? Local authority, who do you represent? The documentary by Benjanim Tuček maps the development of the original zoning plan by Prague’s former mayor Pavel Bém, its cancellation after the 2010 election and creation of a new metropolitan zoning plan. The film reveals the motivations of civic activists, mechanisms of communal politics and influence of money on public affairs decision making process. The film searches for ideological honesty, belief in democracy and an existing vision to build upon even despite the scepticism that roams the society.
