Wrong Cops is a comedy by French musician and director Quentin Dupieux: it follows the hilarious misadventures of a bored and restless cop, Duke, who ends up harassing a teenager (a brilliant Marilyn Manson) and accidentally shoots to death his neighbour. Taking place in an imaginary Los Angeles, the film figures a dystopian and surreal world where corrupt policemen abuse their power, but finally wins over the audience with a warped and a bizarre sense of humour.

Quentin Dupieux (also known as electronic musician Mr. Oizo) writes, directs, shoots and edits his movies as well as composes the music. His second feature Rubber was presented at the 2010 Cannes Critics’ Week. The premiere became an international media sensation, both for its craftsmanship and its role as an absurdist meta-artwork.
