It Felt Like Love
A suggestive, sensitively non-sentimental, poetic and realistic film depicting the fragility and dangerousness of the life of a young girl growing up in Brooklyn in few summer days. Her effort to have the same sexual experiences as her older friends is a dangerous motivation. The director works with amateur actors and stresses the atmosphere rather than a direct storyline and emphasizes small and demeaning details, inner desires, despair and self-deceit.
