The Strange Little Cat
A family gathering in a Berlin flat, in a hermetic absurd universe: Coming and leaving, conversations, all manner of doings, each movement leading to the next, one word following another. Hyperactive children and pets, short-circuited cross-talk and roaring kitchen appliances, short moments of mutual understanding. Highly choreographed and buzzing everyday life. Minimalist observations than tangible drama, minimalist filmmaking with an original style reminiscences of Jacques Tati.
