Films and Program Sections 2010
7th Fresh Film Fest 2010 awarded four prizes in four competitive programmes, Fresh Generation, Main Competition, Theatre Optique and the new section of Czech student films Fresh Czech.
A record number of films has been submitted to Fresh Film Fest 2010, 1 172 in total, from over 60 countries. Most of them were produced in Germany (207), Czech republic (151) and Israel (50).
The programme Out of Competition offered programs of short student films with the main theme of the festival, Heroes, short films by Daniel Mulloy, a member of the Main Jury, retrospective of the Rosto A.D Studio and Face 2 Face focused on student and teachers from Czech, Romanian and Slovakian film schools. Heroes of the British film were presented in the section called Critics‘ Circle Choice. Fresh Classics offered feature films from around the world, Christoffer Boe's retrospective and the film lesson given by Petr Zelenka, who introduced films by the director Jan Moravec.
