Cinergy with Lone Scherfig

Another Cinergy’s guest is the Danish director Lone Scherfig, author of the hit-comedy Italian for Beginners, the Academy Award nominated feature film An Education, and the romantic drama One Day.

On 25th June, two of Scherfig’s films will be screened in Prague. First, a screening of An Education will take place at Kino Světozor at 4 p.m. followed by an open-air screening of Italian for Beginners at Nákladové nádraží Žižkov at 9:30 p.m. Lone herself will attend the screening to give a short introduction before it begins.

The Master Class will take place on 26th June. Lone will present short excerpts from her films and talk about how she developed the stylistic concepts for these films depending on their stories and economy.



Kristian Andersen Eidnes - the main collaborator of Lars von Trier

Next CINERGY guest will be Kristian Eidnes Andersen, Danish film sound designer and composer. He heads the department of sound design at the National Film School of Denmark and he has worked on some of the most significant European films of the last two decades.
