FRESH FILM FEST 2011

8th Fresh Film Fest will take place in August 24th - 28th, 2011, in Prague, Czech republic. The tasting will happen at the first Fresh Film Walk at the United Islands festival.

Again his year, the international film festival Fresh Film Fest is taking place in Prague, Czech republic. The festival center, accreditation hall and festival bases in one will be located in Palac Akropolis in Zizkov. The other screening venues are Svetozor cinema, Ponec theatre and Kino 35 at the French institute in Prague.

FFF will award four prizes in four competitive sections. Fresh Generation, the competition of first and second feature films, Competition of Student Films, both feature and documentary, and Theatre Optique, the competition of student film animation and free audiovisual forms, are international competitions. Fresh Czech is a competition of student films produced in Czech republic.

Filmmakers whose films will be selected in competition will be informed at the end of June, the latest.

The programme out of competition will offer feature films from around the world in the traditional section called Fresh Classics, a film lesson, short films and much more.

Fresh Film Walks, projections on the walls of the city, have been a tradition for four years by now. The first one will happen during the United Islands festival, Prague. And there will be more held in the following weeks not only in Prague and Brno.
