Saturday´s program

Darkly sarcastic Canadian sci-fi Truffe, the last motion picture of the Competition, will be traditionally screened at the Čas Cinema at 4 pm. One of the revolutionary films of American independent school of the 70s, mind-blowing Sweet Sweetback's Baadassss Song directed by Melvin van Peebles will be presented at 4 pm at the Thermal Hotel.

 

For those who missed any of the Competition films there will be re-runs at the Thermal Hotel starting at 9 am.

The presentation ceremony will start at 7 pm at the Velký sál of the Thermal Hotel again directed by Natálie Deáková. The following ending film will be the eagerly awaited new film Funny People starring Adam Sandler and directed by Judd Apatow, the director of the cult movie Knocked Up.

Starting at 10 pm all awarded films will be screened at the Cinema on the River (Kino na řece). The screening of the winner film is scheduled for Sunday.

Another option is a screening of the phenomenal show Ivanov (directed by Petr Lébl) or the night screenings of non-competitive student films, e.g. an animated motion picture awarded in Annecy For Sock’s Sake or a unique Iranian student film The Pottery’s Tale. Starts at 11.30 pm.

A completely unique show “film projection of photos” will be presented by well-known photographer Bohdan Holomíček.

Sporto, Poppr-C and FH vs Call me Radeq will play at the festival club.
