National Film School of Denmark
The National Film School of Denmark has been founded in 1966. Nowadas 96 students is studing at the school in four study program: Film – TV – Screenwriting – Animation. The Animation department is divided into Animation directors and Computer game director. The computer game director is a new education connected to the National Academy for Digital Interactive Entertainment a collaboration between five universities and three art schools in Denmark. All departments has a close collabotarion with The School of Design. The teaching programs a re a mixture of theoretical and practical training and icludes a large number of exercises and productions. IN the productions the students works with conditions ar rules and limits. Rules and limitation is a very important pedagogical and artistic tool and help the students to understand that art is always made under conditions and limitations. During the last year of study the students in teams produce a graduation film around 30-40 minutes in duration. The graduation films are shown in cinemas around in Denmark and are broadcasted by the public TV canal DR1.
Internationally renowned film directors such as Bille August, Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg, Susanne Bier, Lone Scherfig and Pernille Fischer Christensen all graduated from the Danish Film School.Films:

The film takes place at a Christian Coptic deaf school in Cairo.The deaf school is a boarding school, and the children sleep and live there separated from their families. We follow Asma and the 1st. Class during their hard work on learning to speak and to do sign languages.
