Master Class: Dom Rotheroe

SUNDAY 14:30 SVETOZOR CINEMA, SMALL HALL

Our Brave New Worlds section will screen My Brother Tom (2001), a film so unique that even ten years after its premiere the expert public still references it and returns to it. The film was made in the era of transformation from film to digital media and we can see an inspiration by Lars von Trier’s Breaking the Waves. After seeing Trier’s film, documentarist Dom Rotheroe decided to make his own live-action debut with cinematographer Robby Mueller using digital camera. Dom Rotheroe will discuss the film and much more during his Master Class. He will also present his second film Exhibit A at the festival...

Master Class will be moderated by the speaker and editor of the Czech Radio Pavel Sladký.

Free entry, English Only
