CANCELED - Kristian Andersen Eidnes - the main collaborator of Lars von Trier

We are very sorry to inform you that Cinergy with Kristian Eidnes Andersen is cancelled due to healt reasons. Kristian is very sorry and he is looking forward to hosting his masterclass at the beginning od 2018.

November 30th, 6pm, lecture, Bio Oko
During the Cinergy Prague lecture Kristian Eidnes Andersen will look into his methods of creating a soundtrack and musical themes and the landscape in between the two. Andersen will give examples on his own take on the musical genre, as well as illustrate how he works with scoring film. He will also discuss the ways he works with directors at an early stage of production – and how von Trier operates differently.

December 1st, 10am, workshop, FAMU projection room
Workshop will follow the lecture and will be focusing on specifics of sound design. Selection and editing of rumors and atmospheres. Recording and creating realistic and stylized sound atmospheres, ambient areas, bustle and effects. “Everything has to be treated with musicality, when you have silence, when you have dialogue. You have to choose your instruments and your parts. You have to mix your film like it was a piece of music."

Young Finnish director Juho Kuosmanen is coming to Prague to present his feature debut The happiest day of my life Olli Maki which was awarded as the best film of Un Certain Regard section at Cannes in 2016. On Wednesday, March 15 from 18:30 the director will personally present to preview screening with a following debate at Kino Pilotu.
