Our Brave New Worlds section will screen My Brother Tom (2001), a film so unique that even ten years after its premiere the expert public still references it and returns to it. The film was made in the era of transformation from film to digital media and we can see an inspiration by Lars von Trier’s Breaking the Waves. After seeing Trier’s film, documentarist Dom Rotheroe decided to make his own live-action debut with cinematographer Robby Mueller using digital camera.
