An artist creating conceptual installations, political art, sound installations and videoart. His main expression method has from the beginnings of his career been video which he uses as a communication link between the viewer and the author. He uses the camera to carefully observe not only his surroundings but also his own self. His main theme and at the same time media is the archetype of a modern human being - he explores its social issues, sexuality, intimacy and corporeality. His work is characterised by various methods of recording processing and his play with timelines whether circular or stuck in time. He also often shifts sounds and images in individual time parallels. Radim Labuda won the Jindřich Chalupecký award in 2008 and has successfully exhibited, both solo and collectively, in the Slovak republic as well as abroad.
