Kristián Suda (1946, Czech Republic)

He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Prague. In 1996–1997 he won Fulbright Research Award in the USA, and was awarded a research grant over 1998–2000 years, by the Soros Foundation Research Support Scheme to edit and issue the works of Milada Součková, which won the Magnesia Litera award – Litera for Publishin Deed 2009. He is a member of the Czech centre of the International PEN club. Screenplay editor Kristin Suda has worked with renowned Czech directors like Oldřich Lipský, Věra Chytilová, Jaromil Jireš, Jiří Menzel, Michaela Pavlátová, Petr Nikolaev, Bohdan Sláma, Tomáš Vorel, Marek Najbrtem, Tomáš Mašín, Jitka Rudolfová, among others; and he also worked on television films and documentaries with directors Lucie Bělohradská, Viktor Polesný, Jaroslav Brabec, Drahomíra Vihanová, and Miroslav Janek.
